1987 Tour

In the spring of 1987, I flew down to Cancun, Mexico, with the intention of bicycling to Acapulco. A snag in my flight arrangements meant I ended up flying back from Cancun. Once back in the states, I pedaled from Dallas north to Oklahoma City, across southern Kansas and back to Kanakuk Kamp. The trip lasted a little more than a month, although nearly a week of that was spent in Cancun, and covered a little more than 1,200 miles.
