2007 Tour
The 2007 Tour started off from Fayetteville, Arkansas, aimed toward the East Coast, sort of a silver anniversary tour to finish the coast-to-coast ride I started in 1982. If I went all the way to Jacksonville, Florida, the trip would have been about 1,000 miles long. When I got to the far side of Mississippi, though, I decided I had ridden far enough. The tour ended up being about 462 miles long.
