Bruce Castleberry types a story into a Hendrix computer system. The computer, which was the size of a refrigerator, supported two video-display terminals with keyboards and could store three or four dozen stories at a time. Once a story was edited, it was transferred to a paper tape that was then fed through a photo-typesetter machine to produce copy ready for paste-up. The computer system was donated to the journalism department in 1975.
