William J. Knight

Editor - 1919
After a controversial editor in 1917-18 and a fall semester without publication, the reins of The Weekly were taken by William J. Knight. He too soon ran crossways to the administration. Knight was expelled along with two other students after publishing an edition of X-Ray, an underground newspaper critical of the administration. Knight later graduated from the Harvard Law School and became a prominent lawyer in Houston.
