1912 - The X-Ray

In 1912, 35 students published an underground newspaper called The X-Ray to protest restrictions by the faculty. The students were expelled, and the rest of the student body boycotted classes the next day. The governor had to step in to offer a compromise that allowed the expelled students to return to class.
